Summary: review
Review: An excellent example of a true-crime story. Factual, well researched interviewing by the author is prevelent throughout this book.
Would like to see this author involved in another book on a much grander scale. One in which he could "stretch his wings" a bit.
This is one reader who hopes that this will be the first of many to come.
Kudos.

Summary: A must for true-crime fanatics
Review: Southern California crime reporter Howard Breuer has crafted a real doozie with this true story of a Pasadena pediatrician who had a long-term affair with his medical partner and then murdered her in the mountains above Los Angeles -- strangling her with his Snoopy necktie, no less. That one doctor was an up-and-coming African American, the other an Indian immigrant; that she was pregnant with his child -- these elements, plus money, of course, combine into a must-read tale. Breuer covered the story daily for his paper; in this book, though, he uncovers stuff that is straight out of a modern-day Hollywood film noir.
