Summary: That's another good one
Review: "Dangerous Intent" by HK Bains (yes it is HK Bains not KH bains on the book cover) explores the ramifications of genetically modified food (yes food!!!) as a killer as Dr Catharine Jacobs and neurologist Pat stare at three seemingly unrelated deaths in Australia. But it's only when the deaths cross the ocean and start spreading towards China, India, Japan, Malaysia and Indonesia that Catharine becomes suspicious. Dangerous Intent is a riveting read that will leave readers both frightened and enthralled. With today's headlines hawking both the threat and reality of bio-terrorist attacks the author has zeroed in on an all-too-real scenario that makes for the most terrifying of fiction. In this age of lethal bio-weapons, there's a frightening logic in the idea that what you eat might kill you.

The author believes that a new form of bio-terrorist event is, without question, locked into our future. Not really a thought to minimize, as the cautionary tale observes. The author is a trained scientist. With its narrative force, its scientific detail, its suspense - this novel makes real for the reader the real world of today's science of genetic engineering and what all the seed companies can get away with. Puts every consumer(that's you and me) and farmer on an alert-for those of you who haven't read it yet, I suggest strongly that you do.

Summary: A very thought provoking book
Review: Bringing the future closer, Dangerous Intent highlights the agricultural bioterrorism that is around the corner. I sure enjoyed it. Good reading.

Summary: A Facinating thriller set in Australia
Review: Dr Catharine Jacobs is a brilliant scientist with a beautiful mind to match her beauty, but she had no reason to believe that what she was involved in had anything to do with her boyfriend's mother going blind or Barbara escalating towards her end or even five-year Debbie's death. But when heart broken technician Nicky revels her fears, a chilling fear runs down Cathy's spine and she had to admit that her colleague John was actually murdered because of something he knew. Travelling to China and India new facts start hitting her in her face.....and then starts the deadly chase down the corporate corridors and the political alleys. Will she survive? Don't miss it. A great new best seller on the Aussie scene!!

Summary: Are we looking at the face of the future?
Review: Thank God someone has the courage to write the real facts and that also in fiction form, something a layman can appreciate.
Every once in a while there appears a book that mirrors the splendour of its subject. This one is offering up the spectre of biological terrorism as its premise. A really different form of bio-terrorism that is chilling. A splendid book, deeply interesting and powerfully affecting. An honest portrayal of what might be approaching us fast ...really a lethal harvest.
And I liked the glossary at the end..helped me with some technical terms.
