Summary: One Compelling Tale
Review: "Dreams of Ants" ties together an almost mystical mindset with a tough, tight plot. This story provides a revealing look inside how things can go wrong in one of the City of Angels main Departments, as the protagonist struggles to maintain his honor against terrible odds. A page-turner.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Astonishing from start to finish.
Review: An original, action-packed read with a thought-provoking plot. One of the most accurate descriptions of what it's like to be a crime scene photographer in Los Angeles. The story has many twists and unexpected turns. Its multi-layered story will have you looking over your shoulder and wondering if the ultimate world catastrophe can happen without the world's knowledge. From the very first page, it's hard to put the book down. But, once you've finished it, you won't forget it.

Summary: Reads like a 2 thumbs up screenplay
Review: Dreams of Ants has a very refreshing and innovative approach to storytelling. I throughly enjoyed it. It satisfied my interest for intrigue, as it played out the exploits of the main character's dual storyline. His present was marred by corruption and conspiracy and so was his past, but only with must higher stakes on the line. Thus fully illustrating how the concept of karma manifest itself . This gave the book a sort of metaphysical thriller feel (for lack of a better phrase). This character was totally identifiable as a hero as he exhibited courage, justice, perseverance and humanity. The book read like a screenplay and would make a very good movie! 2 thumbs up.

Summary: The Dreams of Ants
Review: Ron Campise's latest thriller mines some new territory in exploring how hero Steve Lomeli balances on spiritual underpinnings in his rebellion against the dark government forces that seek to derail his life and career.

Often in contemporary literature, spirituality condemns a character to defenslessness and it is refreshing to follow the adventures of a character who confidently wields extranatural resources to defend his right to walk the world in peace.

Summary: Both thought provoking and entertaining.
Review: The Dreams of Ants was thought provoking because the reader is introduced into, for most, a world that is new and fascinating. Entertaining because the novel moves swiftly along, keeping a steady, but quick pace towards the end. The novel will keep you glued to its pages wanting to know what's going to come next. Addressing the possibility of a world war having already occurred is an idea injected into the book that has me looking back(over my shoulder) at what history we've been fed via the media and government(s). I'm sure many will share this view after reading the book.
