Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Freeburn's outdone herself Review: After reading Parental Source, I anxiously awaited the next book in the CCD series. WOW! Absolutely worth the wait! Having already developed an admiration for the main characters, I was instantly sucked into Generation's intriguing storyline. Plot twists, cliff-hangers and character revelations abound. I couldn't put the book down. I read it straight through in the course of an afternoon, preparing my children's lunch one-handed as I continued to devour the story! An intelligent, easy read with absolutely believable storylines. Looking forward to the next one!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Great Read! Review: In this fast moving story we are taken into the world of The Child Crimes Division as they begin an investigation of murders. The twist in this story is that the murders seem to be over a popular toy and the race to discover the reason why is on.
We are taken into the world of urban gangs, suburban surroundings, and political headhunters as the investigation twirls around worlds that rarely cross but now seem to be interwoven in a murderous rampage. This read has some moral issues in it as well that you will uncover in the read. Interesting to ponder upon.
The author draws you into the private world of the characters in this work, bringing you some humor, a touch of romance and definitely a state of connecting with them during the read. I always enjoy this, as I like to be lost in the world that a book takes me to. You covet each page you read, as the CCD desperately tries to unravel the mystery behind these killings before more take place; and of course as any good mystery buff reader, you will be trying to figure it out before they do. However, let me tell you, the ending is not what you will expect.
A very good read, mystery at it's best in the center of a great storyline.
