Summary: A MUST READ FOR MYSTERY FANS & PROSPECTIVE ANALYSTS
Review: As a former crime analyst and law enforcement professional, I found Mr. Kessinger's book to be entertaining, suspenseful, educational and enjoyable. It is quite apparent that he writes from the perspective of having "been there". His portrayal of believeable characters brings back memories of former co-workers (which were not all good!) and offenders. His expertise in crime analysis shines through as the reader learns actual analytical techniques while watching the characters pursue the truth. Mr. Kessinger's law school experience has clearly contributed to the book's exposition of law school and attorney "attitude". I highly recommend this book and congratulate Mr. Kessinger on a job well done. I look forward to his next work.

Summary: Hooray for the Analysts
Review: I have worked within public safety agencies for the past 15 years, the majority of them within the field of crime analysis. As I began reading "Lawyercide", I was able to imagine a similar scenario unfolding in my department, and started attaching my own names to the characters in the novel.

Dennis Kessinger has captured the essence of Crime Analysis in analyst Lynn Summers. In a field that is typically behind the scenes in Law Enforcement, Mr. Kessinger has raised the profession of Crime Analysis into the "radar" zone of public awareness. His other characters are both cautious and supportive of this relatively new and emerging profession within the criminal justice system. The tools of the trade, including link analysis charting and the analysts network to name a few, are portrayed in realistic situations with explanations of industry terminology when needed for the general public. To public safety readers, these "tools" should be familiar without being boring.

Thank you, Dennis. You have accomplished for Crime Analysis what other crime novelists have done for their own respective fields. I am looking forward to the next one.

Summary: Lawyercide---A great mystery!
Review: IT'S WONDERFUL!!! I enjoy mysteries, and usually try to read different types---e.g., Sherlock Homes tales, Tony Hillerman's books about the Indian Tribal Police, Agatha Christie, and others. In a lot of cases, they wonderful literary documents, but sometimes they lack reality and really true suspense for me. "Lawyercide" was so enthralling and spellbinding, I could not put it down. I had to read it from cover to cover in one night!! The story truly displayed reality in the way it was written, and I found myself saying, "wow, real stuff," or talking to myself trying to solve the mystery. It's the kind of book that really gets the reader involved. I was reading in bed one night and got to the part about Lynn Summers working with the detectives setting up the link analysis, and commenting to myself, "go get 'em!" My wife thought I was losing my mind, but then she knows my passion for what I do. This book is powerful and an easy read because of your wonderful style of writing. I am going to read it again and again and still enjoy it. In fact, I'm making my Christmas List now and planning to order copies for several of my professional colleagues. I am a public safety professional and a crime analyst, so this book has real meaning to me. It is great!

Thank you for writing this book and I hope there will be more. The devotees of our profession and those who read mysteries need more of Dennis Kessinger's great stories!!
