Summary: Murder, mystery, mahem and myth
Review: Kristina Olson writes with such vivid and flowing description that I felt swept away by her short stories. She brings the characters to life with such reality that it feels like they could be your friends or neighbors who have something terrible to hide. Each tale left me wanting more, and my cravings were satisfied by her inclusion of fourteen of her brilliant short stories. I eagerly await the release of her next novel!

Summary: Murder, mystery, mahem and myth
Review: The short stories collected in Enchanted take you through the looking glass to a place where lightness and magic battle darkness and reality. The characters may seem like people we've met, but, upon closer inspection, they are really modern versions of immortal images from the pages of the Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Anderson, Greek mythology, and ancient legend. In Enchanted, Little Red Riding Hood, the Little Match Girl, Faust, Athena and Dionysus, and Hansel and Gretel return. And, although they may be older and wiser now, their tales are just as fascinating as when I first read them. If you still believe in the big, bad wolf and fairy godmothers, you will probably enjoy these stories as much as I did.

Summary: Couldn't put it down
Review: This book of short stories held my interest from start to finish. I read the book in an evening. Some of the images I gained from these stories will stay with me forever. The writing is clear and concise, the stories are well crafted and fascinating. Some of the stories were so thought provoking, I intend to read them over again. This is quite an accomplishment for a first time published author. I can't wait for Kristina Olson's next book!
