Summary: A Legend in his own Time
Review: A riveting tale that looks at the impact and influential nature of two people, at opposite ends of the societal ladder. Almost by accident, two close friends, using their instincts to gain power, taste success so often, that the reader becomes a silent cheerleader for them. There seems to be no end to the hurdles (& the patience to overcome them) that the two main characters encounter.

At times the author attempts to make sense where things are best left unsaid or provide background to help the reader understand why the characters act as they do but these are nit-picks and relate to my personal reading preferences.

It is unmistakable that I found it hard to put the book down once the adrenaline began to flow. The author pulls you in and refuses to let go. There are lessons to be learned in this tale... some are 'hard,' others more subtle... but no one will leave empty handed.
