Summary: Inclusive of different people with disabilities
Review: As the editor says, the senior HS student has a learning disability. PLUS, the heros of the book have a hearing impairment and are in a wheelchair. (There is nothing mobility impaired about Maggie!) Good book for readers unexposed to people with disabilites to feel more comfortable learning what differently-abled really means! These heros earn respect and admiration, pity is not needed nor desired here! It is rare to find (hero-type) people with disabilites in a mainstreamed book. Highly recommend!!
