Summary: Traditional with a twist...
Review: "Mona" takes tradition and makes it intriguing. I love the setting and the characters. You can see the luscious hills, smell the soup, and hear the voice of old Sister Magda. I applaud her allegiance to her heritage. Thank you "Mona" for enlightening a darkened pupil to the richness that is our home.

Summary: Beauty and Murder
Review: Mona McMillan has captured the beauty of Virginia in her novel, Murder in Brook Garden. I was drawn to the language of the garden. Mona fills her suspenseful novel with the backdrop of such famous writers as John Milton and much more. This supporting literature brings this classic novel to life. I found myself despising the outspoken Sister Magda and dreaming of a fullfiilled life like Roberta's. Mona McMillan has taken the existing beauty of the Virginias and adds a touch of murder. I could not stop reading this book since the moment I bought the book. A recommended read for any classic muder enthusiast.
