Rating: Summary: GIVES YOU SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT Review: I read the book and thoroughly enjoyed it. The author definitely had a message to share. The speech near the end of the book SHOULD make you take inventory of yourself and your values. It SHOULD make you stop and think about where you are in your life and where you want to go in the future. It SHOULD make you want to look at the influence you have on the youth of today and ask yourself how can I help to make someone's life better in the future. I do not agree with the way the situation was handled. Suppose everyone decided to handle opposing opinions in this manner. After reading the book you must honestly admit that most of his statements are true and maybe it will make you want to do something to make a change in your life.
Rating: Summary: Inquisitive!!!!!!!!! Review: This book was chosen as the book of the month for April to read by COF II Bookclub. The book was almost predictable. You knew when someone was going to be murder as well as the next victim, but the way the book was written curiousity made you flip the pages to see if you assumption was correct as well as the conclusion. The person comitting the murders was absolutley sick. I think part of Reginald's childhood should have been revealed in order to understand a lot of things that took place in the novel. At the very end of the novel there is a dynamic speech, that is why I gave the book 3 stars. After meeting the author and discussing why the movement and the way the book was written I can understand his decision. Also, this book could make some readers angry and not want to read Dicks piece of work. The book was easy read, but not a murder mystery. Thusly, the book was about a serial killer with a vengeance.
