Summary: A must read!
Review: This is one of my favorite books. It's subtle science fiction about a trip to Venus and a government conspiracy gone terrible awry. You see, one of the crew members gets turned into a mutated bear, kills the guys on the spaceship and rapes the girls.

This is a messy story which is actually two stories in one.

The other story? Oh, it involves the aforementioned government conspiracy and a killer lesbian.

Alan Brooker is a writer from New Zealand that impressed me with his cunning little plot twists and nasty sense of humor.
