Rating: Summary: TRUE PAGE TURNER Review: I found this book riviting. I stayed up until 1am to read it and the only thing that ever keeps me up that late is "indigestion" or a great book. I feel the latter is true. The book mimics John Patterson in many ways except this one focuses on not "the who done it" but how and why they did it. I am a big John Patterson fan but I would like to make room for Richard's book on my bookshelf. Please let there be a sequel and when!!Karen Mason

Rating: Summary: Thrust Home Review: Taut, mostly tight thriller with good characterizations, and well-delineated action sequences. some confusing point of view with short chapters, but it all comes together in the end
Rating: Summary: A dark, gripping, suspenseful saga Review: Thrust Home, deftly written by Richard Charles Hoyt, is a savage mystery and a thoroughly suspenseful thriller novel about Porter Manning, a forensic psychologist who is called in by the authorities in help them catch a serial killer who ritually murders his victims. A dark, gripping, suspenseful saga that turns personal when the killer kidnaps a fellow forensic psychologist to be his next victim, Thrust Home is one of those contemporary crime novels that are so easy to pick up and so difficult to put down.
