Rating: 4 stars
Summary: not nearly long enough!
Review: A police officer finds himself hunting for the killer of the young girl whose ghost appears to him.

This is a fast-paced adventure: inventive, insightful about the Way of the Warrior, memorable...& not nearly long enough!

A good read & do catch Walter Ihlefield's other books. He's a writer to watch with an unusual, centered look at life!

Summary: Woman Fairy
Review: Do I understand that the banshee is a man? How peculiar! Banshee is from Gaelic 'ban-sith' which means 'woman fairy'. She cries or wails when a death is about to occur. The author needs to do a bit more research before the next book.

Summary: What a nice surprise.
Review: I was in a 'reading mood' when I turned to the first page, by the end of Chapter One, I knew I would be up until I finished it. The characters are so real you feel as if they are neighbors. Without being overly descriptive, there is enough detail to allow you to visualize Bridgeway and the events as they are happening. What a nice surprise, to pick up a book expecting to be entertained for a couple of hours and instead find yourself in another place in time. A great read, I am telling my friends.

Summary: Fascinating Read!
Review: This book really fascinated me at first because of the name, 'Banshee Rising." I wondered what it could be about. It turned out to be a really well-written, well-thoughtout story. I hope the author continues much success in his writing career!

'The Banshee' is Navy Seal, Mitchell Parks. His codename is Banshee because when he was in Vietnam, he would turn into a very different person. A person people were very afraid of.

His next-door neighbor, Edna, saw a young girl standing in Mitch's attic window. Edna knew it was Sara, a girl who dated her son when they were younger. The girl has been dead for over 30 years, so Mitch decided to see what she was doing there. Since he was little, his grandfather taught him about The Spirit World, so he had no qualms about meeting her.

Sara made herself appear in his house because she wanted to meet Mitch. She knew he could help her. She has a secret about her and her family. Part of the secret is in her diary that has been hidden somewhere in the attic.

Mitch has the help of his friend Dana, and his old Navy buddy Owen, aka The Hawk. They get into something that has been kept secret for over 30 years. And most of the townspeople already know about it! Most of them are also involved!

Mitch is going to investigate, and with the help of Sara guiding him in the right direction, also blow everything up out of the water! He also contacts his grandfather for his Spirit Guidance too. Hopefully they can keep him alive long enough to reveal all the secrets and all the crimes committed!
