Rating: Summary: Exciting International Spy Adventure Review: A friend told me about this book, highly recommending it. Once I started it, I found myself reading until 3 A.M. every night. Hatch and Syd are the most exciting and interesting spies I have ever read about. Their adventures span the globe: Florida, Rome, Istanbul, Iran, Israel, Greece, Sicily. The descriptions of these places were as fascinating as the violent situations the heroes found themselves in. The exciting adventures are a backdrop for a heart-pounding love story. My kind of book! I hated when it ended. It would make a great movie.

Rating: Summary: A spy thriller masterpiece! Review: A real page turner! Hard to put down! From beginning to end, Wolf Wootan's new spy thriller is an enormously fast-paced read. Hatch Lincoln and Sydney Steppe are fascinating heroes and the author's knowledge of the high-tech world we live in puts him on par with the best of Clancy. I can't wait for the next book to come from the pen of this extremely talented writer.Shirley Stanley, avid reader of thrillers.
Rating: Summary: Intrigue, teeth-rattling violence, and breathtaking romance Review: Anyone who reads thrillers or romantic suspense novels will want to read this fascinating adventure. It's like a ride on a runaway train. Its antiterrorism theme is both compelling and appropriate for today's international climate. Most characters ("bigger than life" some call them) in high-tech spy novels are often two-dimensional (flat). Wootan has deftly developed his characters into three-dimensional real people: they go to piano bars; they sing; they dance; they do real people things. The reader has a chance to evaluate their value systems and their morality. The characters and scenes are so well-drawn that I could not only visualize the characters, but also the settings they lived in. The dialog is crisp and matches the speaker. I felt as if I were in the room with them. Everything is so real. The people, the places, the action. Do not start this book unless you can allot time to read it. It is impossible to put down. The climatic ending caught me by surprise. Breathtaking! Move over Ludlum and Coonts!

Rating: Summary: Page-turning suspense thriller Review: Have just completed reading "Edge of Tomorrow" by Wolf Wootan. Where has this author been hiding? He has really done his research for this fast-moving story of intrigue and adventure and it is among the best I have ever read. No one will guess the ending. A complete surprise! Wootan has assembled a cast of characters that seem like real people, and the dialog is exceptional. Cannot wait for further adventures of Hatch, Syd, and the team of Triple Eye.

Rating: Summary: Put together a sexy professor and a "hunk" of a spy Review: Wolf Wootan is a man of many talents himself, having worked for forty years in the computer industry, including publishing documents and books for clients in the government. He is also a former Air Force fighter pilot. He lives in Southern California. Sydney Steppe is a woman for all seasons. Having earned a Ph.D. at Harvard, she speaks many languages, has been a member of MOSSAD, the intelligence for Israel, where she carried out assassinations of a terrorist group that was responsible for the death of her parents in a bus explosion. Sydney is in Florida, trying to forget the dangerous part of her life, but the terrorists are there to try to make her remember. She attracts the attention of Hatch Lincoln, himself a former CIA assassin who has made billions by forming his own intelligence company. Little does he know that Syd will figure in his future and come in handy in a fight: "'Good shooting, Syd! Or should I say ANNA? Shadow-4 is in the air. They should be overhead in a minute. Let's try to take him alive, see who sent him. We can guess who, but I would like to verify it,' answered Hatch. 'This could provoke me into some very lethal action, and I want to be sure who the target is.'" Put together a sexy professor and a "hunk" of a spy and you get the connection between Sydney Steppe and Hatch Lincoln (and all his aliases). Their talents leave audiences jealous; their looks are everything the reader could hope for; and their missions are of the highest caliber. Edge of Tomorrow is a gripping and entertaining spy story with nods to James Bond and Tom Clancy. It is a touching love story of two people who have been forced to live on the edge and have lost loved ones. Finally, it is a rip-roaring and bawdy tale of excitement and adventure sure to keep the reader's nose stuck to the book. Wolf Wootan knows whereof he speaks. He has a great sense of humor; real knowledge of weaponry and special ops; ties in his experience with computers for a humdinger of a denouement; and has enough lovely sex scenes to make a nun blush. His description of exotic locales where the action moves is superb. Wootan is a great writer who should keep it up in this genre...no pun intended! Shelley Glodowski Reviewer
