Summary: The Mob is alive and well in Chicago
Review: After hearing Michael Yergin Being interviewed on CBS Radio in Chicago, I immediately went out and bought his latest novel Kill Talk. If you are from Chicago,Florida.New Jersey,or anywhere for that matter and like true mafia thrillers-you won't be dissapointed with Kill Talk.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: History and Gangsters!
Review: I read the first 25 pages of Kill Talk in 3 days. Then I read the rest of the book in one night. Honestly, I could not put this book down.

At first, I thought I wouldnt like the book because the first few pages were a bit much for me, but then the story grabbed me, and the things that I had disliked at first, I began to look forward to reading more of.

The author seems to have, although I didnt see it at first, a real reverence for the city of Chicago, an intense love/hate feeling for the female gender, and a cynicism about many of our culture's pursuits of love, sex, money, violence, prestige, and power that I found to be hilarious and right on.

If you like history, if you like gangsters, if you like sex, if you like wealth, if you like attractive people (ok, thats everyone), read this book.

Summary: Best Book I've read this summer
Review: Michael Yergin's "Kill Talk " shows his skill as a great story teller, "Kill Talk"-which you know is true- also keeps you sitting on the edge of your chair in suspense. Quick,fast-paced,romantic,humorous,and shocking ;make this a great book.Yergin is one of Chicago's least known treasures. I can't wait for the sequel, Kill Talk-2 to come out.

Summary: Great Chicago Outfit-Mystery-Murder-true story novel
Review: Michael Yergin's "Kill Talk" is this summers best beach read. Fast paced, action page turner. Yergin surpases his Pulitzer Prize
first cousin,Daniel,in really telling a story that moves so quick and dangerously that you are at once shocked and embroiled in Yergin's superior writing style.A cross between Nelson Algren,Michael Chricton, and Sidney Sheldon. Yergin weaves a complex-yet highly believable-- Mafia mystery sex-love-murder novel that keeps you guessing at every page-only to be continually surprised and mesmermized by this incredible story.Yergin, in this genre, is without a doubt, in my opinion, the best Chicago writer there is-bar none. Get this book, lock your door, don't anwser the phone, and get ready to be lost in a world of mystery, murder and intrigue as Yergin shows his extraoridinary story telling talent. A must read for anyone...
