Review: I was hooked from the very first chapter. Jake Stewart is such a believable character, and his wit and sarcastic manner was classic. I found the story fast paced, with just enough action to seem realistic. The side plots provided nice diversions from the main story line. Gregory A. Morris seems to have studied the masters of this genre well. His first person prose reminded me of Raymond Chandler a great deal.

The world of detective mysteries needs more from Jake and Marshall Stewart!
