Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Gripping suspense!
Review: I didn't know what to expect when I picked up Fogstalker on the recommendation of a friend, but I was instantly drawn into the story from the first page. The characters are very well written (I feel like I know Nick and Sarah personally!) and the novel is very well plotted. I was very surprised to find that Fogstalker is a debut novel. It reads like it has been written by a seasoned veteran of mystery writing. Great read!

Summary: Murder at the Beach
Review: If you've ever visited the California coast or hung out around Monterey Bay--or any seacoast, for that matter--you'll get a kick out of this mystery! Fogstalker is full of local sites and coastal weather and sounds, and you'll recognize life at the seacoast, for sure. Nick and Sarah Worther retired to the small town of Aptos to escape the hassles of Silicon Valley, however, they're soon up to their necks in a brutal murder of a young friend's intended and find Nick targeted by a violent killer, a wannabe local terror. Soon they've also attracted the attention of the sheriff and find themselves up against an old enemy and opening the old emotional wounds of their young friend's difficult youth. The book makes great escapist reading. These folks certainly aren't hard-core sleuths, but I say check 'em out and you won't be disappointed!
