Summary: A TALE OF COLD WAR INTRIGUE
Review: An Omaha Beach veteran, I ordinarily am not attracted to war stories. Nor to mysteries, although I was for a time in the Counter Intelligence Corps (CIC).

But THE TUNNEL held my interest from chapter to chapter, and I read it slowly in order to savor all the action. The details are so well presented and developed that one is not surprised to learn that the author served with the U.S. Army in Munich and Augsburg, Germany.

The dialogue at times may seem unrealistic, but the action certainly isn't. What the author has here is an excellent candidate for a first-rate movie. I'm just happy that I read the book before seeing the movie.

Summary: A TALE OF COLD WAR INTRIGUE
Review: The skill exhibited by this new author in unrolling this adventure novel is astounding! Not just another spy novel from the Nazi era, the character development, and the twisted plot elevates this novel above the genre.
