Summary: Weak character development
Review: I ordered the book after reading the reviews and after reading it I can not believe we read the same book. These two characters were always in some major delima throughout the book. They fell in love within hours and planned to live together forever. This is not one that I will keep in my collection. I guess I am just spoiled by the outstanding writing of Radclyffe. I recommend you skip this read and buy the books written by Radclyffe or Melissa Good.

Summary: More please!
Review: This book is a typical first attempt, and yet so much more. There are formatting errors, yes. But what convinces me I spent my money wisely is the quality of the story. With strong, but believable characters, a variety of supporting characters and REAL locales, I'm very glad I bought this book! The characters have flaws, hobbies and secrets just like everyone else, they have pets that they care for and no matter what happens, the emotions are always real. Even Morrigan's anger toward her father when she finds out... I won't ruin it for you. Buy the book already!

Summary: Weak character development
Review: This book was a delight to read. While maintaining a solid base, it was a story within a story within a story. The women in this novel were empowered - able to meet their challenges head on, defeat the bad guys and win the day. Though my comment is cliche, it is true nonetheless.

The thing I enjoyed most was how easily I could relate to the two main characters and to their story of discovery and love.

I would recommend this as a lovely read, a great cozy-up with a soft blankie book but stay alert because you never know when a turn in the road will occur.

Summary: Terrific Book!
Review: This is a book unlike any other and well worth the wait to get your hands on a copy! The blurb on the back doesn't do it justice, and the cover is cool, but it really has very little to do with the story. What matters is what's between the covers. You MUST read this book! A writer and a bodyguard grudgingly hammer a friendship out of fear, torture, pain adventure and family secrets, and I'm so glad they did!

Summary: Pleasant Story -- Appalling formating
Review: This is an excellent story, and I enjoyed reading it the plot and about the characters, Merlin and Morrigan, but what is the deal with this publisher and their inability to format a book anywhere near properly like professional books are created? There are scene breaks in the middle of conversations and indents where they should not be and lack of indentation where it is supposed to be. If the format was corrected, this 200 page book might only be about 175 pages. The book itself has a nice cover, but pages are fragile. By half-way through the book, the pages were threatening to fall out. I wonder if their printer ever heard of glue?

I would maybe have given this one 4 stars, but the pleasant story was repeatedly interrupted by the poorly structured set-up and the typos. The author shows promise but either ought to demand better editing or else get a new publisher who knows how to format a book.

Who is this unseen "foe" trying to prevent their chance at happiness? Can another tragedy be prevented while hearts are claimed by love? Let the writer take you on a journey where you will find yourself wondering -will love overcome all? It will be well worth the trip!
