Summary: a true account of the afterafftects of sexual abuse
Review: I liked this book as it spoke of things concerning abuse that few can utter aloud. we all know it is wrong to abuse a child sexually, yet few can imagine the terrible afteraffects of abuse unless they have suffered it. therefore i feel the author has done a good job of showing how to and how not to deal with abuse. if you have been abused in any way, especially by clergy, then you will like this book. the parts that are lacking are of course evident (especially the judicial parts of the book) but all in all the story ring true for those of us who have been abused. A must read, despite the holes in the story, for all child abuse survivors.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: talk about politically incorrect
Review: wow... i never knew folks did that to their kids. you read about it in the papers all the time, but to actually hear an account of sexual abuse that holds nothing back is heartbreaking. also i learned a lot about Mormonism. this book made me appreciate my parents and all they did for me. I do wish the story had explored the insanity issue more. all in all the book was pretty good. but dont expect to be all new age happy and full of yourself in the end.
