Review: A brilliant mix of humor and mystery that kept me guessing until the very end. I definitely recommend it!

Summary: F as in Frank
Review: A fast light read. The story of a rookie detective getting a werewolf for a partner is just a hoot. Set in Boston, the partners have a great time tracking down assassins and bonding in typical male fashion. Effective pacing and strong writing make this a delight.

Summary: F as in funny!
Review: F as in Frank is a new and very funny take on the Werewolf story.
Frank is a Boston homicide detective who happens to have a rare form of lycanthropy. Frank is also a loose cannon and his bosses want him out of the department.
Frank's new partner is in on the conspiracy against him but would rather not screw over a fellow cop if he can avoid it. Together they try to solve a bizarre murder in the public library while trying to keep Frank from getting fired or killed.
This is not your father's beantown either, Boston is just another wild character in the story. After the explosive finale, I really hope that there will be more of Frank in the future.

Summary: A Werewolf in Beantown
Review: F as in Frank is a well-paced read that takes a fresh twist on the buddy cop story by having one of the protaganists as a werewolf. I enjoyed the humor, both the in your face jokes and the subtle twists thrown in by the author. The scene where Frank and Ryan maneuver through the Boston City Hall bureaucracy is a hoot. This book has action, humor, romance and interesting characters.

Summary: EXCELLENT
Review: I found F as in Frank to be an exciting, intriguing, and mysterious book that was hard to put down-the ending being dramatic and nothing I had anticipated.

Summary: F as in Funny
Review: I really enjoyed this book. Frank is the traditional misunderstood good cop, with the slight additional difficulty of being a werewolf. How Frank turns his "disease" to his benefit is constantly amusing. In fact, the whole book is clever and funny. Even the serious scenes become hilarious when you picture the actions being performed by an 8 foot werewolf. I eagerly await the further adventures of Frank.

Summary: A great summer read
Review: I think I finished this book in two days as the pages just kept turning. With great characters of Ryan (the young rookie cop ), Frank ( the world weary veteran, who also happens to be an 8 foot werewolf ), and Violet ( the spunky reporter ), a fun story in and out of the streets of Boston, and a wonderful pace, F as in Frank, is destined to be part of our permanent cultural lexicon. I can't wait for the sequal.
