Review: After finishing "Dangerous Lies" by Lisa Smith, I have to say I was immensely pleased. Lisa Smith wrote a tale of suspense, heartbreak, humor and love. The story kept you wanting to turn the pages, expecting an outcome of Jake and Tina finally getting it together. The surprise ending is what I really liked. Naturally, I'm a romantic and this is "supposed" to call for happy endings. Smith knows how to do a story in style. She has great characters, well defined. She has wonderful dialogue and a great plot. For this first time author, I predict she will be writing another great novel in the near future. Lisa Smith is well on her way to becoming another famous author. Steel and Roberts may as well move over and get out of the way. Lisa Smith has style, class and a "gift" for story telling. I can't wait for her next book to be published. I recommend this book to everyone.

A thoroughly enjoyable quick reading novel. Captivating - spicy -intriguing. Some day soon I would expect to see Jake and Tina featured in a TV series.

Review: Great charactors,very original plot. Lisa Smiths fast paced book held my attention till the end. A mixture of cruelty and tenderness throughout, weave a compeling tale about Tina and Jake, 2 people anyone would want to meet.

Review: I really enjoyed reading Dangerous Lies because it had all the features I look for in a book. The book had a continuous flow of human perseverance, romantic and unique characters. I bought the book to take on vacation with me and was very happy with my choice. After I told my friends about the book, they all want to read it.

I am really looking forward to reading another book by Lisa Smith and hope to see it available soon!

Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this fast paced romance-mystery. Tina and Jake were believeable characters facing a compromising situation realistically. Other family members were readily identifiable as real people. Surprise twists revealed at the conclusion of the story added further enjoyment to my reading. The intrigue and steamy romance made this book a page turner. I would love to see the characters and storyline captured on screen. A sequel would be welcome as well so that we can find out what becomes of Tina and Jake.
