Summary: Schuyler is back and in the thick of another murder case.
Review: Kentucky real estate agent Schuyler Ridgeway has done many dumb things inher life, but this time she trumps even herself when she agreed to help hercheating, lying ex-husband Ed and his socialite fiancee Kimmie find a house. To make matters worse, she agrees to take a cut on her normal commission. She also agrees to meet the former wife of her lover Mathias, and allows him to put up his ex-wife in his home. Finally, Schuyler visits the house of Mathias' mother for dinner even though the lady believes that Schuyler killed the woman's husband. Everyone else knows that the guilty person is in police custody. ......Schuyler's love life gets placed on hold when she finds herself involved in another homicide investigation. Kimmie asks Schuyler to come to the house that she and Ed plan to buy. When Schuyler arrives, Ed is leaving the premises. He tells Schuyler that Kimmie has been murdered. All the evidence points towards Ed being the killer, so the intrepid man flees the site. This leaves Schuyler to explain to her favorite homicide detectives why she is on the premises of another murder. While Ed hides from the law, Schuyler investigates the murder. However, she quickly learns that Kimmie was not the innocent individual everyone thought she was and hopefully this information will flush out the real culprit. ......There can be no doubt about it that Schuyler is such a brilliant female sleuth, she makes the entire genre look great. The lead protagonist is a classy role model for individuals of either gender struggling for self sufficiency. She is also an extremely humorous individual, especially in her dialogues with her sons and her ex, and her soliloquies with herself. TWO STORY FRAME is a superb who-done-it that no one will figure out until the end, yet will keep everyone intrigued and mesmerized by the story line until the last page. Tierney McClellan makes reading fun. ......Harriet Klausner
