Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Reiko and Pat
Review: Pat and Reiko form an equal partnership in this story. Eric Farnham returns to the Monterey Peninsula after a three year absence. Eric has a background as an enforcer for the mob but he is now interested in finding the missing fortune of the deceased queen of Northern California rackets, Felicia Montalvo. For that reason he hires Pat and Reiko. There are a lot of pleasures in reading this series, but probably one of the most enjoyable is watching the developing relationship between Reiko and Pat.
