Review: There is a plethora of legal novels on the market these days. I have read several and Venus Project is right up there with the best of them. The author provides just the right amount of detail without slowing down the fast moving pace. He also provides realistic legal scenarios which are sorely missing in many other legal novels I've read.
This is a very easy and interesting read. I highly recommend it and hope the author follows up with another in the near future.

Review: This is a fast paced, legal action thriller. It is set in a small county in Indiana where Jack Caplin (former prosecutor turned defense attorney) gets the case of a lifetime. One of Wisconsins Senator's chief assistants is accused of a call girl murder in Indianapolis.This is just the start of a very interesting,acurate and spellbinding turn of events which lead to a dramatic conclusion.

This is one of Smarts first endevors in the fiction area and he has produced a winner. This book is a real mixture of the writing styles of Grisham and Turow. Smart demonstrates the legal background and accuaacy of Turow and the story telling and drama of Grisham. Watch out; we have a super new writer on the horizon.

The suspense keeps you on the edge of your seat as you become acquainted with the lives of the characters and how they are carefully woven into the story. Yes, you are drawn into the story and the characters do become alive and real. It was hard to put the book down!
