Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Swift Murder a la Double Indemnity
Review: It's a shame that this book is out of print because as most of the black lizard crime books it's excellent. A smooth lawyer plots to murder his wife, run away with his secretary, and maintain his innocence. If you liked Double Indemnity I would recommend searching for this one.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This one's a beaut!
Review: Someone needs to wake up Random House and get them to reprint their fine collection of crime novels, of which "Web of Murder" is one of the best. Whittington is masterful at drawing the reader into his plot, which involves one double cross after another, and has an ending that is terrific, and as noirish as they come. The comparison to Double Indemnity is apt.
