Review: A terrific read! Eslick writes with extensive knowledge of hiking the White Mountains and combines that with a suspenseful mystery replete with compelling and believable characters. Tracked In The Whites is excellent; I had to read it through in one sitting.

Review: As a mystery buff and outdoor enthusiast, I found Mr. Eslick's fast-paced novel a wicked melding of both of my interests. If you are planning an outing similar to that of the protagonist, Will Buchanan's, you might want to consider waiting until you safely return before you read it. A vicarious wilderness experience for the armchair adventurer.

Review: Set at a small New England prep school, Tracked in the Whites tells of Will Buchanan, a teacher who finds himself under suspicion for the murder of a student after "wilderness orientation" goes awry. As Will sets out to prove his innocence, the reader is compelled by the edgy dialogue and the unpredictable (but not outrageous) plot.
