Review: Louis Lento's understanding of the racing and gambling industry allows the reader to get an up close glimpse of the activities that the public rarely sees. Sal Domino, the main character, is a throw-back detective who resembles those from the "noir" era. The story is fast paced with exciting twists and turns. It contains all of the elements of a great mystery including murder, deceit and romance. Great reading!
