Summary: An Andy Comb Mystery...
Review: I liked this book for the fact that the story turns humorous in the end. I wish I found out more about Combs; he started as a gritty detective but then something happens and the pursuit of his investigation takes over so we never get to know him. Also are thermonukes so easy to make and tote? I can understand suspension of disbelief but that's pushing it too far! I liked the different characters but too many of them whiz by, or only say something inane (which is ok because most of them are new age moonbats). Not quite in the league of Dan Brown but nonmainstream and absorbing. I give three stars for a worthwhile read.

Summary: CINEMATIC THRILLER
Review: It's easy to picture David Rowlett's "Those Who Know" as a movie. Starring a bitter private eye who lives in his Mercedes and won' t carry water for the FBI (which plainly wants him to), the book features snappy dialogue and a summer blockbuster plot: a gadget that can quell nuclear explosions goes missing and everyone - from religious fanatics to international terrorists - wants it. Or seems to. A surprising (albeit exhausting) plot line and memorable characters make for a story that Matt Damon or Nicole Kidman could have a great time playing.

Summary: More than a mystery thriiler. Highly recommended!
Review: Very fast paced story with lots of interesting (strange)characters.

We have a romantic hero, a failed love interest, a intriguing yet undeveloped romance and a great topical, flowing mystery story.

This story has so many messages, that it is more than the typical adventure-mystery.

Andy Combs,(our hero)is to thwart the Terrorist, the government and the mystical con men of the world. An easy read at 224 pages. While slowly absorbing the terrific characters, I was able to finish in about two hours.

I liked the quick ending, it doesn't keep you waiting too long.
