Summary: A very good thriller!Try It-you'll like it.
Review: Allison Robbins, the spouse of the District Attorney, is a battered individual who wants to die. Going into the most dangerous part of the city, Allison chances upon Monty Jones, a drug dealing hit man, snoozing in his car. She enters his vehicle and pleads with him to kill her. However, like her selection of her mate, Allison picks the wrong killer since Monty has a conscience. He does not kill anyone who does not deserve to die, even a socialite who has observed his work....... Police Officer Mike Shiller killed Monty's son, leaving an enmity between them that will not end until they both are dead. When evidence surfaces that Monty is the probable killer of some lowlifes, Mike is certain that he will be able to rid himself of his nemesis forever. That desire quickly crumbles when Allison provides Monty with an alibi. All three of these scarred individuals appear to be on a collision course with a destiny that could lead to death, renewal, or both........ Jane Holleman's novel is a gritty, hard hitting expose that demonstrate that the lives of the rich and famous are not always any different from people residing in the slums. KILLER GORGEOUS is a work that deals with justice, not the law, for people who fall through the system's cracks; thereby, making this a rich, complex, and multi-layered suspense drama. ......Harriet Klausner

Summary: just plain PLAIN
Review: Not bad for a first time try. The book is pretty sterotypical & not very pro-women. Beautiful blonde living the perfect life gets caught up in murder, drugs, revenge. Sort of read like a screenplay. This book would be fine for a made for tv movie. It was entertaining & I don't begrudge spending the amazon price to read it

Summary: A pleasant surprise
Review: Picked this book up for an amazing price, and I wasn't disappointed. Holleman writes extremely well, and this first novel is a true delight. To the reviewer that thought it "jumped around" too much, you couldn't be more off-base. Holleman's genius is in tying up all these disparate threads into a cohesive and surprising ending. Her use of strong female character leads is refreshing as well.

Pick a copy of this up; you won't regret it. I promise.

Summary: just plain PLAIN
Review: There was not a lot of imagination in this book. The plot jumps around so that it is difficult to follow the story line. It seems that the author's brain just never settles down. Maybe better luck next book.
