Rating: Summary: The Seventh Sin Review: A fantastic debut novel, a real page-turner. One can only imagine the parallels between the book and the author's real-life experiences in a big law firm. I can hardly wait for Perison's next literary offering.
Rating: Summary: Not bad but... Review: I read heaps of crime fiction novels and found this to be certainly interesting but in parts the storyline was hard to follow. Also I found some of the characters definitely unlikable. Maybe the author will iron out some of these problems in his next novel.

Rating: Summary: Well worth your money Review: I try to tell readers if they are getting their money worth when they purchase a book and this is one that is well worth the money. Readers who like these legal thrillers will not want to put this book down until they discover "who done it". I changed my mind several times during the read. It is a very quick read and different from most.

Rating: Summary: exciting police procedural-legal thriller Review: In San Francisco, Meagan Heller had been so proud of her husband Richard when he joined the legal staff of Sterling and Madison. Seven years later, Richard became a partner, but Meagan hoped that he would find time for her. However, the change was for the worse as he worked longer hours and ignored her even more so. However, his having an affair is the end so Meagan decides to divorce her husband. However, Meagan's plan to start fresh is disrupted to say the least when the police find a murder victim in a room at Nob Hill's exclusive Mark Hopkins. The victim's fingerprints have been erased from his hands and other disfigurements make identification difficult. However, when the police identify the copse, evidence points towards Meagan, whose nightmare has just begun because of a vengeful one night stand that links her to the deceased. THE SEVENTH SIN is an exciting police procedural-legal thriller that never eases up until the final verdict is rendered. The story line is crisp, filled with tension that grows with each page, and loaded with strong characters, especially Meagan. Eben Paul Perison's debut novel is so entertaining, readers will anxiously await his next tale, BREACH OF CONFIDENCE.
Rating: Summary: Shocking ending!! Review: This book is one the best legal thrillers that I have ever had the privilege of reading! After being ignored by her husband, a powerful attorney, Meagan Heller begins an affair with a handsome stranger. Soon afterward he is found dead in a hotel room and all of the evidence is pointing towards Meagan. There are so many twists and turns in this book, I don't want to give away much of the plot. If you love a good mystery, then this book is for you! You'll never guess who the real killer is and the motivation behind the crime. I've read many mystery books over the years and this ending shocked me! I literally gasped out loud as I read it. You can't go wrong with this great book!
