Review: I was engaged from the start, and kept savoring my very limited reading time, hiding away with Kick for ten minutes here, twenty there, like a guilty pleasure. Such a wonderful trip to St. Paul, and back in time! "Call Me Kick!" is part coming-of-age, part thriller, part analysis of depression and its treatment, but one hundred percent masterpiece. Best of all is the word play between Kick and her uncle-written on so many levels-truly sublime.
