Rating: Summary: What a Story! Review: This was the scariest book about the Internet I ever read because it was the most real. The author didn't have monsters crawling out of the modem like in a sci fi flick--what she's talking about is *true*--and terrifying. Carrie is not your typical heroine, but she's a tough and inventive one. She takes a strange job surfing the Internet to pay her bills--she doesn't know what a Big Wave is in store. I liked this book because it was unusual but realistic; it took twists I never expected, and I loved the characters. The strangest part is that the villain is really a bad guy, but there was a point when I even felt sorry for *him*--which shocked me. It made me think, and it made me feel. Not many books do both.
