Summary: A Soul Stirring Book
Review: The Fire of Heaven is the third book in The Blood of Heaven Trilogy. I enjoyed all three books, but the third one was the absolute best. I must say this book challenged me to look inward and apply the teachings of the book of Revelations to myself. In this book, Myers takes us to Turkey and walks us through the Biblical landmarks where the original seven churches in the Bible where. As he describes the condition of the landmark, Myers incorporates the letter directed at the appropriate church into the story. As if this isn't stunning enough, he applies it to the modern day church. Although this book has its thrilling moments, it is not exactly in the same genre as Left Behind. This novel was written for people who are already Christians. It will change the way you view Christ, the early church, and yourself.

Summary: A Most Disturbing and Challenging Book
Review: Who would think that a novel could be as challenging as any teaching book. That is what you will find in Fire of Heaven. Bill Myers has presented us with a tightly written allegory on God's love and holiness based loosely on the book of Revelation.

It was one of the most disturbing books I have ever read; it was definitely not what I would expect from a novel. I say disturbing, because my entire soul was stirred by the challenges the book raised to me. It called me back to my first love with God, to holiness, to faith, and worship like no book has done in some time.

I am deeply moved by the message of this book, and have been challenged to more christlikeness through reading it.

And the story is good too.
