Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A literary rendition of a story of serial murders in Paris.
Review: A compelling example of what a police story (serial murder) looks like in the hands of one of the great living writers from Latin America

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Very interesting indeed
Review: Saer begins the book with a coiled narrative with intensive mood, a story that took place in a freezing winter in Paris and then suddenly changes to another environment, a lazy conversation between friends in a hot summer in Argentina. That happens throughout the book, like a warn-up then cool down joke.
The most interesting thing here is a story that one of the characters narrates to the others.
At the final revelation, you'll be able to know the reviews of the story through the eyes of these "independent" personages.
A very interesting book by a great writer.
