Review: This book is a powerful story about one man's (Gregory Washington) sudden descent into madness and violence and his wife's (Tuesday) struggles to deal with it. At first she brushes it off but when he turns violent she has to weigh her loyalty to her husband against her own self-preservation. I couldn't stop reading as Gregory subjects Tuesday to horror after horror and Tuesday tries to find the strength to escape him. This novel is excellent in depicting the effects of abuse on everyone involved.
