Summary: A Roller Coaster of Emotion!
Review: In reading the collection of poetry and short stories by Rainey Moon, I found it hard to put down once I started to read the short story and the novelette. Both stories had mystery theme which was intriguing, both were great. In reading through the entire book, I found that Rainey Moon could take me on a roller coaster ride full of emotions and thoughts. Great job! Something for everyone.

Summary: A profound insightfulness that few authors achieve
Review: Rainey Moon's collection of poems and novelettes express bittersweet moods that attain a profound insightfulness that few authors achieve. The style of her work professionally melds poetry and prose in a unique manner. This is enthroned in individual poems such as: 'Thoughts,' 'Whisperes of My Mind,' 'Night's Eternal Grace' and 'Eclipse.' 'Scattered' and 'Song of Angels' are examples of prose woven around her poetry. 'Festival of the Dead' and 'The All Souls Fair' neatly bridge into an expanded long story and novelette. Rainey Moon's prose is written poetically for anyone to read and feel. Her literary works take the readers to the ultimate depths of the human soul. As a writer it has been a privilege to read her outstanding work.

Summary: A Must Read!
Review: The author has a very vivid imagination. You feel like she has "been there and done that." The short stories keep your attention and you do not know how they will end. According to my husband the short story about Clifton Forge should be made into a movie.

Summary: A Collection of Eclectic Poems Followed by Tales of Suspense
Review: This book captured my imagination all the way through out. The poetry spoke of many of the feelings that we all struggle through day to day. They celebrate the good of our lives and commiserates with you on the parts that we would sometimes like to forget. There are even hints of worldly pleasures within some of the poems. A so called, "modern day Song of Solomon".

The tales capture your imagination and string you along so that you forget that you are reading and feel like you are living them yourself. One is a tale of utter surprise and the other of pure suspense. Both lead you to an unforgettable ending, one of which your not sure is over!

I highly recommend this book to those who like something a little off the beaten path. For those that are tired of reading the same old romance, mysteries and "who-done-it's".
