Summary: "A sequel every bit as good as the original"
Review: In this sequel to DEAD AT THE BOX OFFICE, the author presents a very realistic view of how a small New Jersey town and the resorts at the famous "Jersey Shore" were effected by the early days of World War II. The mystery centers on a group of Nazi saboteurs while continuing to explore the inner workings of show business publicity machines. These are two completely diverse elements which the author skillfully intertwines to a crescendo the reader will never see coming.John Dandola's 1940's mystery novels surpass the usual "what's your exit" Jersey jokes and mafia insinuations and re-instill a sense of pride in the Garden State.

Summary: A GREAT READ
Review: The atmosphere of John Dandola's second West Orange mystery/thriller is just right and the locale breathes the setting. The handling of the complicated scene switching and interweaving of the various plot lines is quite deft and the double denouement nifty. New Jersey ought to push this picture of its scenic glories included in a fictional trek from Long Beach Island northward and West Orange ought to make the author a favorite son for giving the town such a unique place in the literary world. It's a great read and like its predecessor would also make a great motion picture.
