Summary: Drop everything
Review: Drop everything and ingest this book immediately. It's TIME. In this election year, as we watch people all over the country waking up to what's really been going on -- in the government, in the corporations, in the stock market, in the churches, in the whole existing power structure -- this book is an intensely satisfying and energizing read. It will really get your synapses going. And it's a page-turner! You can't put it down. The structure is as good as any thriller, including "The Da Vinci Code." The characters are real and their relationships are authentic. It's extremely hip and even young people are going to love it. But most of all, the book is infectious. It could change your life in the best possible way. If you believe Americans actually have the right to pursue happiness, pursue "Clarity." You can even download it for practically free.Tell your friends. Pass it on. Tune in, turn on and drop everything.

Summary: Buy This Book!
Review: If amazon.com says this book is out of stock, don't wait---order it direct from iuniverse.com---no need to wait for this fun, hopeful story! Characters I could relate to and a very intriguing idea. There is even a gasp at the end! Don't look ahead to see what is there---just read it at the end, where it will have the greatest impact.

Summary: Good book!
Review: If you want to read something thought-provoking, hopeful and smart this election year, read "Clarity." Ms. Goldbard gives us crisp, rich language, provocative thoughts to chew on, hip. lefty characters that we can relate to (yet who surprise us), and all without preaching to the choir! I really enjoyed the prose, was rooting for the good guys to win, and couldn't wait to find out what happened. A terrific little read...you'll find yourself giving it away to good friends...

Review: In depressing times like these, I am especially hungry for hopeful visions of the future. Not simply Pollyannish ones either, but articulate descriptions of how we might all act so as to save this world from the depravity of our so-called leaders. Into this breach comes CLARITY.

Here we have the story of someone who's struggling for a way of being in the world that attains an acceptable balance among the given, the desirable and the feasible -- and who in this struggle discovers a realm of possibility that's open to each and every one of us. The pages seem to turn themselves as the plot twists through several rounds of surprise developments, leaving me at the end with a sense of hope that overshadows even this morning's depressing newspaper headlines.

I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a way to reconnect with the redemptive spirit in every human heart (even Dick Cheney's, who shows up toward the end!).
