Summary: It's wonderful to have Doc Adams back after three years
Review: I've read all of the books in Rick Boyer's Doc Adams series beginning with the wonderful Edgar Award winning "Billingsgate Shoal". If you like a good mystery/action story this is an excellent series for you. "The Man Who Whispered" is also filled with excellent references to good food and wine as well as Cape Cod lore. This book stands alone as a good introduction to the Doc Adams series but it is even more enjoyable if you've read Boyer's other Doc Adams books in order.
