Review: "The Magistrates" by Peter Smith is a wonderful read.
He mixes a good story line with technical legal material in a way that makes the legal material understandable and also part of the fast paced plot.
He captures the style that made ex policeman Joseph Wambaugh so popular as a writer.

Review: What a wonderful book. Great character development. Judge Smith developed characters that the reader cares about,
empathizes with and we get to watch the characters grow. Lawyers will definetely identify with the courtroom drama, difficult clients, and the lead characters. However, this book hits home for non-attorneys too. I hope there will be a sequel.
