Summary: The Old School Dies
Review: This is the first Kate Morgan title I have read and I liked it. Although it does not rank in the top ten of my favorite mysteries, it moved along smoothly and kept my interest. It's a shame most of her other titles are out of print. I read this on an eight hour flight to Hawaii and it certainly made the time pass quickly. I shared it with a fellow passenger and she seemed to be entertained by it.

I did feel that the protagonist, librarian Dewey James, could have used more depth. It seems like Morgan just missed the boat by inches of following the greats such as Paretsky and Grafton. Too bad because as a librarian who is also a lover of mysteries, I certainly would have jumped on the band wagon.It was enjoyable, however, and should be put on a list for fun summer reading.
