Rating: Summary: Timothy J. MacFall Review: An engrossing and fast-paced read. Deadly Betrayal - The CBS Murders offers a rare glimpse at the painstaking work involved in a major, high-profile investigation. As an ex-prosecutor, I found that the characters, plot, and description of events all rang true in a way that can be done well only by someone who has actually "been there and done that." I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I look forward to reading future works by Mr. Richards.

Rating: Summary: Very well written Review: I found the book to be very well written. The story grabs you from Chapter 1. It has twists and turns you don't expect. I was very pleased with this book. It keeps you interested and I like the way the characters seem so true to life. You won't be dissappointed.
Rating: Summary: Hopefully the Begining of a Classic Mystery Series Review: If I were a stockbroker, I'd classify Donald Scott Richards as "An emerging growth stock." I was drawn quickly into the plot and characters. Having seen the engrossing TV version of "The CBS Murders" I can say the TV production pales in comparison to Richard's written word. The plot develops characters that stay with you and make you say when will the next book be published. Richards passes on to the reader's feelings the detailed day to day investigating along with inter office inter bureau politics and weaves this into the plot of a Deadly Betrayal. If you like Ian Rankin, the excellent UK mystery writer, you'll like Donald Scott Richads. Here is a plot based on actual events as seen from inside.
