Rating: Summary: Criminal Seduction Review: Don't Miss this one...It's fantastic. Exciting to the very end
Rating: Summary: It was OK Review: I enjoyed this book but I thought it was too long and not very suspenseful. It could have ended a lot sooner that it did. Don't expect too much excitement from this one.
Rating: Summary: It was OK Review: I love Darian North's books--BUT...this wasn't her best. I thought that it was way to drawn out, and frankly I felt that the courtroom parts were extremely boring. The premise was good, although somewhat unbelievable, but it was just somehow lacking, in my humble opinion. But I WON'T give up on new Darian North books!
Rating: Summary: ENGROSSING Review: it took me a while to get into it, but i found myself getting pulled deeper and deeper into the story, and then it was very hard to put down. one reviewer said there should have been a better ending with the main characters. i disagree. when the book ended, the story wasn't over: the last bit of the epilogue was left up to the reader and, in my mind, the ending was eminently satisfactory. this was my first darian north book, but it won't be my last.
Rating: Summary: A good book Review: This book was good. I really liked the suspense in the courtroom scenes. I didn't like it when a character had a long story to tell. I also would have liked a better ending with the main characters.
Rating: Summary: Held My Interest Review: This was my first Dorian North book and it really held my interest. Although I am not a native Kansan, I have lived here many years and the references to the Flint Hills and Wichita were fun to read. The characters and plot were good, although some parts of the story were a bit too "pat". Some of the court-room dialoge could have been cut down.
I liked the ending. I thought I had it all figured out and it took a nice twist. Overall it was an enjoyable read. This was my lunch-time book and I looked forward to it each day. I have added Dorian North's name to the list of authors on a post-it note I keep on my library card. I plan to read more of her work.
