Summary: Awesome
Review: An absolutely great read. Greg Griffis is bound to become a favorite. With superb characterization, and a well-developed plot, he weaves detail into his tale of adventure in an interesting and informative fashion with out encumbering the reader unnecessarily. At the same time he builds the tension into that magical totally engrossing type of story that can't be put down. I highly recommend this book if you're in the mood for an action packed / mystery thriller that is real as life.

Summary: Curious though mildly interesting
Review: The story was interesting in a compartmentalized fashion. The building blocks were there but it almost seemed just that basic. All the elements were present for a great read but weren't stitched together in a finished style.

If I had to guess, Mr. Griffis is probably someone who enjoys intrigue and spy-like fantasy and likely works or has worked on Wall Street. In someways this was almost a parody of itself as if he'd planned to write a mystery based on other mysteries he's enjoyed. I'd love to know what his impetus was for killing off his love interest. For a first book I have to commend his efforts but I'd certainly expect that he'd sharpen is prose and avoid near-cliche like phrases in any future efforts.

If there's to be a sequel, I'd like to see a more original story line that shows less dependance on having had his hands on other stories in the past. I personally thought that this read more like a story written by someone who felt obligated to write a book than by someone who loves to write.

Even still, it was entertaining enough to make me wonder if he'll get better the next time around.

Summary: Up and Coming!
Review: Watch this Author! This man should consider a new Editor as prose is a little awkward as well some printing errors. The story is entertaining and shows an author with promise. Congratulations on what I believe is a first publish. I can't find anything else by this author. Now lets see the next one!
