Rating: Summary: Continuum- a story of intrigue, beauty and ugliness Review: Ms. Beider conjures a spellbinding tale, juxtaposing love and hate, ambition and misguidance. Her characters are real and immediate. Her grasp of that other world beyond ordinary comprehension intrigued me, since it is not a subject I am familiar with. I found her novel to be a good read told in straightforward language.
Philomena Green- authour of Yellow Roses at Christmas
Rating: Summary: A good holiday read! Review: Continuum by Marlys Beider is a great read for the post-9/11 adult. The author handles with ease intrigue, high technology, sex, and spiritualism. The dialogue is crisp and consistent. The plot moves quickly and smoothly. The paranormal becomes the reader.
Rating: Summary: A total page-turner. Review: Continuum is a fast-paced and exciting read which will stretch your mind and keep you guessing. Ms. Beider has quite adroitly woven together numerous story lines which all logically and believably come together in the (rather abrupt) end.
I read this book on vacation and, despite a long day of hiking and activity, had to stay up until 1 am to finish. You know how it goes, "Just one more chapter...ok, maybe just two more chapters. No, I'll stop at 11.....11:30.......well, now I might as well just finish!"
Continuum is a good choice for you if you have an interest in things 'otherworldly' or want a quick and entertaining read. The chapters are short, making it a great choice for those who read on transit to and from work.
I'm definitely looking forward to future books from this author!
Rating: Summary: Suspenseful Review: CONTINUUM is a suspenseful book of intense unusual situations of ordinary people. Heartfelt, warming surprises where strong characters transcent class levels with spiritual influences. This book keeps you reading and wondering. Are there people in this world with unusual spiritual powers? Highly recommended.
Rating: Summary: Continuum - top notch reading Review: Don't miss reading Marlys Beider's new novel - Continuum. If you like adventure, intrigue, mystery, and romance, with an overview of the supernatural, you'll find them all in this new paranormal bio-thriller. An elite radical muslim cell in the US, working under the guise of scientists for a major bio-pharmaceutical firm, and funded by the CIA, is developing a vaccine for a newly-discovered "ebola-type" virus. However, their true purpose is to dismantle the US government by killing the president and key members of his cabinet. Two unique young women, born at the same moment in New Orleans and Arizona to different parents, possess supernatural skills that allow them to infiltrate the muslim cell and thwart their efforts. The novel is full of fascinating characters, and unexpected twists and turns that keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting to read this story without interruption.
Rating: Summary: A Blockbuster of a Read Review: Marlys Beider's bioterrorist thriller is a blockbuster, a must-read if you like action, evil villains and winning heroes.-Ray Licht
Rating: Summary: New-Age Fans Thrilled With CONTINUUM Review: Marlys Beider's newest book, CONTINUUM, homes in on the current hot topics of reincarnation and the righteous use of extrasensory perception. Beider's heroines use their incredible powers as the ultimate weapons against evil. And speaking of evil, her villain's invention of a deadly toxin is so real it jumps off the page. Some abrupt transitions in style, but overall, a thrill for new-agers.
