Summary: Hazard can't keep her nose out of trouble...
Review: *Dead in the Dirt* is the fourth novel in the Amanda Hazard mystery series. Now presiding over a successful accounting firm in Vamoose, Oklahoma, and continuing a steamy romance with police chief, Nick Thorn, Amanda's life is going swimmingly.

One morning, after receiving an urgent phone call from farmer Wilbur Bloom, Hazard heads out to his farm to give assistance. Once she arrives, she finds him unfortunately dead in the dirt, seemingly stampeded by his very own hungry cattle herd. Taking a quick peek around, Hazard determines (once again) that this death is not accidental. And once again, Hazard will investigate the murder with or without Thorn's help.

In this highly suspenseful episode, Thorn's brother Rich makes a guest appearance to help Nick investigate a related case. Unfortunately, they spend more time protecting Hazard (a.k.a. keeping her away from the real bad guys) than working the case.

*Dead in the Dirt* is another great Hazard novel. Looking forward to *Dead in the Mud* next!

Summary: It was a mysterious book about a murder in nowheres village.
Review: My idea of Dead in the Dirt was very interesting and suspenceful. The book was 254 pages and I thought before I strated reading it. Is that it was going to be a boring and stupid because I thought all they were going to talk about was the murder. After I started reading it, events kept on coming one after another and not just talking about the murder. The book had me wanting to read more and more. Mostly everyday I read 20 Pages because it was so interesting, and that I wanted to know what would happen after one event. So in conclusion I would have to give the book 2 thumbs up because it did not stick to one event which was the murder. It had somewhere like four events going on in the story.
