Rating: Summary: Can Anyone Say Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar? Review: Franklin White has always shown that us that he can give the good, the bad, and the ugly of relationships with engaging dialogue and realistic settings but now he has brought a new flavor to the urban thriller. White can do it all! This is the kind of book that will have you talking out loud to the characters, anxious to turn the page and will wake you up in the middle of the night worrying about what will happen next. I won't give away the plot but let's just say people will do anything and everything for that money!
Rating: Summary: For the Love of Money Review: Franklin White's latest literary offering, MONEY FOR GOOD, takes the reader on a wild and crazy thrill ride. The main character, West Owens, has finally achieved his dream of becoming an entrepreneur when he opens his own garage, but he stands to lose it all when he has to close up shop to serve on jury duty. While performing his civic duty, he meets and befriends Lauren Richards, a resourceful woman who has a "get rich quick" scheme. West joins forces with Lauren to convince the jury to free defendant Pete Rossi in exchange for a considerable amount of money. Little does West know that he is about to have the experience of a lifetime in his quest to have money for good.Franklin White has written a page-turner that draws the reader in from the very first page and does not let up until the last page is turned. Filled with action, adventure, murder, deceit, police corruption, and laced with a hint of romance, MONEY FOR GOOD aims to satisfy. Kudos to Franklin White for a job well done, and I hope to see more of West Owens and his associates in White's future novels. Reviewed by Latoya Carter-Qawiyy of The RAWSISTAZ Reviewers

Rating: Summary: So Good! Review: From the begining this book hooks you. This guy and the drama he is having with his girl and on jury duty. I really enjoyed the part when they go to the strippers club and the next morning he finds out that she got killed. That detective that knocks on his door afterwards really was creepy all through the book he just kept showing up places and threating West-which was really good. The night he watched the hooker and her man was hillarious-but when he got the phone call from Lauren and went home to see what was wrong-just made me cry. I can't express how good this book is. Just have to read it.
Rating: Summary: This book is very good. Review: I am not going to lie. I had to actually make my boyfriend hurry up and finish because he kept talking about it and telling me what was going on. I am serious-it was the first time I saw him keep his eyes glued to the page and it made me want to start reading it myself. I have to say, after I started I couldn't put it down either. It was like I just had to find out what was going to happen next. I liked the way the author had all the different characters who all were trying to get the same thing. That money! Everyone I could relate too, especially the female, Lauren, she was great but her sister was a trip for letting that guy talk her into working for him instead of taking care of her responsibility. I live in Atlanta so I understood how the characters could have gotten caught up. I have read like fifteen books this year and this has to be the best one.
Rating: Summary: Smooth, easy fun gangsta read! Review: I loved this book. I thought the author did a really good job mixing all the characters together since they all came from different backgrounds. Rossi and West played off of oneanother perfectly then when they started to work together along with Mrs. Bullock it was like watching a movie. I would have given this book 5 stars and I still probably should but I was mad at Lex for what happened to her baby-that part in the book really touched me because it happens much too often. You wont go wrong with this novel you will really enjoy it.
Rating: Summary: Pages just turn. Review: I picked up this book by Franklin White because I read his first novel Fed Up with the Fanny plus the cover is hot. From the very first page when the District Attorney is grilling Rossi I knew that this book was going to be a good one. The main character West -I could really identify with because I have been on jury duty before and it does take a lot of time. West was upset that his business had to shut down because of jury duty then when his girlfriend started to complain about the lack of money in the house, he was almost forced to go into a plan with another juror (Lauren)who was down on her luck and living out of her car. Their plan was really simple. Get the money from the guy (Rossi) who said he was innocent..but they could tell he had it. From that this book is just an explosion of storylines that keep you reading page after page. I will be looking forward to the next West Owens book. The author left it wide open for another book and I can't wait to read it.
Rating: Summary: If you don't read this book you are missing a treat! Review: It takes a really good novel for me to write a review. But Money For Good just happens to be that type of novel. I read the novel last weekend and my wife who reads all the time couldn't believe how I would not put this book down. It was full of drama. The novel had plenty of excitement and the parts in the books especially, when West and Rossi go over to the guy's house who supposedly gotten there friend pregnant was to die for! I also enjoyed the part in the book where they followed a guy in his van and drove him out to a rest stop. In my estimation, Franklin White will be an author who will be around for a long time because he knows how to write. His storylines all work well together and they are very creative. Kudo's for this piece of work.
Rating: Summary: Off the chain! Review: This book is awesome! You have this guy trying to make things work for he and his girlfriend and he gets called to jury duty and he has to close his business up. Then his girlfriend is sneaking around with this fool who is always up in his house. Then he meets this girl on jury duty who is scandalous but very street smart who convinces him to do some dirty work with her. The book is all that-there is just no other way to explain it. It has a ongoing relationship, with some thugged out individuals who really down in their heart want to be good people. Oh yeah then you have this old lady who steals the show but she is scandalous too. Not to mention the wild hooker and her friend who didn't have any problems laying on the floor in front of the main character and doing the do--just off the chain. Overall I rate this book a ten! The author did a great job.
Rating: Summary: A Must Read! Review: This book is excellent. I really enjoyed the story line and all of the characters where great-especially all of the female characters. This novel has a great story line and terrific sub plots to go along. You wont go wrong with this one! Great job.
