Review: This book is a delicious treat for fans of British police procedurals. And if you're a golfer, you're in for a bonus. Chief Inspector Byram St. George won't be chasing any killers on foot (bad leg and too much weight). His forte is sound detective work. (Think of Holmes in the body of Sebastion Cabot.) And before the crime is solved, golf fans are taken for a divot-by-divot tour of the courses at St. Andrews that will have them clutching the volume with an over-lapping grip. I highly recommend this book.
