Summary: Loved the action
Review: Female P.I. thought she was working on a simple case of adultery, in the glamourous City of Beverly Hills. What she found, was a world of sex and drugs, and the money and power that were acquired from the abuse of them. The story starts of slow, so the author can give the background leading to the development of the story--but you end up riveted as the action begins.

Summary: Awesome Female P.I.
Review: Finally, a female P.I., who seems real. She physically trains, so she can compete in a male dominate world. If it means wearing a skin-tight mini-skirt, and a low cut top, showing ample cleavage, to catch a would be adulterer, she's willing to do it. I actually cracked up reading those chapters, and visualized her performance. Turning the tables on him in the end, had me cheering. She's tough, after having been raised by her father, brother and most of the neighborhood boys, but she's also vulnerable, making her an appealing character. There's a lot of sexual tension going on between her and Detective Barone, who just happens to be her ex-boyfriend, so you find yourself wondering if they'll get back together. The story is told is such a way, that you want to follow it all the way to its conclusion, and the ending pulls at your heartstrings. I read the book the same day I received it.

Summary: Women will love this book
Review: I received an advanced copy of this book, and am now purchasing another one for a friend. The author seemed to know a lot about the area she was writing about. I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed the book, because the female character is a good role model for other women. She was brought up without a mother, and raised by her father and brother, but she seems to have come out of it okay, and she has a good head on her shoulders. Cudos to her father and brother. At the same time, she does do some crazy things in order to get the job done. I especially enjoyed the chapters where she was trying to trap a cheater, and get the proof for her client. I love what she did to the man. It had me cheering along the way. There was also a sexual tension, between her and Detective Barone that had me panting, but I admit, I was torn as to whether or not I wanted them to end up together. I can't wait for the next book to find out. As to the ending of the story--you could almost envision it playing out, as if on the movie screen. The action builds up through the story, and then there is a climatic conclusion, and it pulls at your heartstrings. I found myself wondering who would end up playing the characters on the screen.
